Where in the world do you work?

I’m based in Berlin. I work most of the time remotely because of the current situation. But I enjoy heading into the office occasionally. The best thing about Berlin? For me it’s nice living in an open, diverse, and cosmopolitan environment. ….and of course Döner Kebab :)

What do you do at Productsup?

I’m an SME Account Executive. An Account Executive is a salesperson. As an SME AE at Productsup, I manage the full sales cycle for companies with under 500 employees. This covers serving the needs of existing customers and closing deals to create new business.

Why do you love your job?

To date, I’ve had a fantastic experience working at Productsup, and I am very excited about what the future will hold. I was interviewed back in May 2019 and the interview process was very smooth. Everyone I encountered made me feel very welcome and comfortable right from the start.

The vibe that I got from that process was a relaxed but ambitious atmosphere and the whole team seemed very down-to-earth and friendly. I immediately felt like this would be a great fit for me and this proved to be right. I joined in September 2019 and have not looked back since.

My personal highlight was the opportunity to develop and progress my career as a sales professional. I originally joined as a BDR in 2019 and after performing well in that role, I was rewarded with the opportunity to interview for an open Account Executive position in November 2020. That interview went well, and I was promoted to SME Account executive in January 2021. In my first year, I was part of a team where every single rep over-achieved on their quota. This was an amazing experience.

Have you had any other roles at Productsup?

I originally joined Productsup in September 2019 as a Business Development Representative. I was promoted to SME Account Executive in January 2021.

Initially, there were some growing pains, like learning new skills and processes. But thanks to a solid onboarding process, advice from my more experienced Enterprise Sales colleagues, and guidance from my managers – it was ultimately a successful transition.

I was given the opportunity to progress my sales career here, and I am very grateful for that. The company has some exciting years ahead, and I am very energized and excited to be a part of this. I really enjoy my career in sales here, and it is something that I am passionate about, so I do not anticipate I will be doing anything different.

What makes Productsup different?

It sounds like a cliche, but for sure, it’s the culture. As I said initially, I believe there is quite a relaxed but ambitious atmosphere here. Most people are down to earth and more than willing to help. So for sure, I would say the company is a collection of individuals who synergize well.

What’s your superpower?

I would say my mindset, my creativity, and my work ethic.
