KAO optimizes over 200 products across 11 channels using Productsup’s P2C platform
Productsup has served as KAO’s product content syndication partner since 2021
Productsup, the leading Product-to-Consumer (P2C) software company, has officially announced its work with KAO, a leading Japanese consumer goods manufacturer with iconic beauty brands such as John Frieda and Guhl. Through the collaboration, KAO has successfully optimized online content for more than 200 products across 11 channels.
Tens of thousands of enriched fields
Since the partnership began in 2021, KAO has imported product data for 1,139 products to the Productsup platform. Brands include Wakati, MegRhythm, John Frieda, Bioré, and Guhl, among others. By uploading thousands of photos and filling 57,782 empty product fields, KAO has successfully delivered perfect product content to more than 10 different online retailers.
Expansion of the collaboration
KAO will expand the collaboration with Productsup to be its Data Management Service (DMS) partner. Productsup guarantees that all of KAO’s product information, such as ingredients and composition, is automatically captured within GS1. The product data is then automatically certified and can be acquired by all retailers.
"We have been working with Productsup as a content syndication partner for over a year and a half to our full satisfaction,” said Barbara Antonioli, Key Account Manager at KAO. “We are therefore pleased to expand our cooperation and choose Productsup as our DMS partner. By bringing both parts under one party, we have one point of contact, which saves time and ensures a more efficient implementation of the entire process".
*This partnership started between KAO and World of Content, which was acquired by Productsup in June 2022.
