Where in the world do you work?
I am based in Berlin, which is also where I was born and raised. I like meeting my amazing colleagues at the office and I enjoy working there. I mostly work from home because it is easier to schedule and conduct interviews with people from different time zones. I also like to work remotely. Right now, while answering these questions, I’m in the northwest of France, looking at the ocean. It can’t get better than this.
What do you do at Productsup?
I’m a career matchmaker, aka a Talent Acquisition Manager. Every day I help grow our company’s talent pool and offer great career opportunities to our applicants. It’s a really fulfilling experience to match candidates to their dream jobs at Productsup.
Why do you love your job?
So many reasons! I’ve been with Productsup for some years now and there have been many highlights: I love my job because I get to meet so many different people and share the amazing culture we have at Productsup. I watched the company grow from 90 to over 300 employees. I made a lot of new friends along the way. I work with extremely talented and kind people. I am always learning and getting inspired. I love my job because I have the freedom to take ownership, share my ideas and interests, and get honest feedback from my leaders and peers. Every day I get to develop my career a little more.
I also love our amazing summer and winter events. One great memory is from a trip to Mexico when I spent a day on a giant catamaran chatting to colleagues. There are so many wonderful experiences to choose from at Productsup.
Have you had any other roles at Productsup?
I actually started as an Office Manager at Productsup in 2019. Since then, I have been able to develop quite a bit. After a short detour in Technical Support, I was given a chance to move into the Talent Acquisition team, where I could bring my people skills to the next level. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, I passed a lot of milestones in my career. I started as the team’s first TA Coordinator, where I was given ownership of implementing new processes. I then started my journey in Talent Acquisition and got to manage and train the next TA Coordinator. I am super happy with my incredible journey at Productsup and thankful for the chances given to me.
What’s your superpower?
I am a super mom to two teenagers. Need I say more?
