[WP Import] New "store pickup" link on Google Local Inventory Ads (LIA)

To further enhance the experience for local mobile shoppers who specifically search for items near them, Google has announced the addition of a new feature to its Local Inventory Ads: A store pickup link.

The aim is to generate more purchases by letting shoppers know they can conveniently buy online - and pick up in store.

After clicking through to your local inventory ad, a shopper can now select the “store pickup” link on the product page.

To assist with this, your product inventory will be visible in the local “knowledge panel” (where they would get other info such as store opening hours and directions) reassuring shoppers that the product is indeed in stock.
